Naotaka Hirami

Manager of the Center for Collaborative Research & Community Cooperation

 

Completed his Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Science and Technology, Waseda University; and his Doctoral studies in Acoustics at Cambridge University. He occupied different managerial positions at Mazda Motor Corporation and, being the Executive Vice President of Mazda Logistics in Mexico, he was involved in the establishment of the Mazda’s Salamanca factory.
Currently he is manager of the Center for Collaborative Research & Community Cooperation at Hiroshima University. His labor is focused on supporting the development of the innovation ecosystem in Hiroshima Prefecture, promoting the consolidation of the Triple Helix and the creation of networks between foreign Universities and companies with Hiroshima University.
