The “BUSINESS, SOCIAL TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCES – JETS”; took place in Bolivia from August 19 to 24, 2019, with the organization of the Private Technological University of Santa Cruz – UTEPSA. JETS is an annual event of international scope, which promotes activities for the integral formation of the community, through various academic spaces.
The agenda included 16 activities taught by prominent national and international professionals, and contests and exhibitions were held, with the participation of more than 5,000 people, including UTEPSA students.
On this occasion, the G1PEC International Network for Entrepreneurship and Innovation had the active participation in two main activities of the event mentioned above.
On the one hand, on Thursday August 22, the “Company, University and Entrepreneurship” forum was scheduled and all the G1Pec members participated; Naotaka Hirami (HU), Alejandro Rodríguez (UNAL), Eduardo Urzúa (UNAM) and Federico Ernesto Viscarra (UTEPSA). Each of them commented on the success experiences of their Universities in the context of linking with private companies.
On the other hand, on Friday August 23, the JETS 2019 contest was held with the presentation of projects related to innovation and entrepreneurship by the students, where 40 projects were presented. The jury was made up of the members of G1Pec: Naotaka Hirami, Eduardo Urzúa and Alejandro Rodríguez and on behalf of CAINCO Edgar Talavera.
The group with the winning project was awarded a trip to Mexico to represent UTEPSA at the INC Monterrey event.
